Marcia Hart, Founder

Marcia Hart has dedicated her career to helping businesses and law firms optimize their office space for high productivity and cost savings. Combining architectural design, quantitative analysis and organizational sensitivity, her unique skill set offers insight and technical expertise when it's needed most.

Architect, technologist, entrepreneur

With over 25 years experience as an architect, workplace consultant, and business owner, Ms. Hart has seen how cyclical market forces and technology affect real estate and business planning. She has developed data-driven methods and tools to manage uncertainty in real estate decisions.

Competence on the cutting edge

Since forming her first business in 1990, Ms. Hart has maximized technology for competitive advantage and analytical insight. In 1999 she created a comprehensive database incorporating a new organizational structure, workplace program requirements, and construction scheduling to optimize the merger migration for 4500 people at Exxon Mobil’s 1 mil. square feet campus in Fairfax VA.  In 2007 she founded Roomtag LLC, the workplace management software company acquired by Asure Software, Inc. in 2014. Today, technical expertise and proprietary tools developed to automate complex calculations are used to model transaction-oriented design decisions for tenants, commercial real estate brokers and developers.

Ms. Hart earned a Master of Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design (1987) and A.B. from Princeton University (1981). She is a registered architect and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).  As part of her continuing education she has participated in intensive workshops in Group Dynamics and Skills for Productive Conflict.

Business is personal

Throughout her career, Ms. Hart has found that relationships are the most rewarding aspect of nearly all good work. She assumes that clients value their relationships at work as well, especially with colleagues and staff who will personally feel the effects of decisions taken. To protect her clients' internal relationships, Ms. Hart treats every engagement with sensitivity and confidentiality.
